Attendees bring their laptops to the session so media expert Ramona Logan can coach them on writing an effective press release that they can use for their organization and send to the media. During the four hour session Ms. Logan will explain all of the important elements of a press release, how to make their event news worthy and how to follow-up with the media.

Attendees will master the art of effectively and effortlessly talking in broadcast style sound-bites. Sound-bites are quotes for radio or TV interviews that are clear and concise.

CAMERA READY MAKEUP AND STYLE WORKSHOP
Ramona Logan focuses on the elements to make your cosmetic and clothing choices perfect for the camera. The hands-on session provides recommendations for enhancing the on-camera appearance of clients, as well as developing a camera-ready wardrobe. 

The session will also address how to dress your best for your body shape to counteract the extra 10 pounds that the camera adds.  The session includes a color analysis so participants will know the best makeup and clothing colors to wear. They will be given a color analysis wallet that includes their best colors. Participants need to bring their own makeup to the session so they can learn to apply their makeup correctly. She will also show you how to cosmetically camouflage things like a double chin, chunky cheeks or hooded eyes.
